1) Install SWILogPlus by launching the swilogxxxxx.msi

2) Launch "SwiLogPlus" from the "Start" menu ---> Program Files , enter the COM port under "Custom Port Number" to which the 
modem DM interface is mapped to or if using Sierra Wireless Windows drivers  this is the next sequential COM port number under 
"Ports (COM & LPT)" in "Device Manager" after the COM port number that is assigned to the "Sierra Wireless Modem Device" under "Modems".

3) Select the "Filter File" provided(in the README(MC57xx).ZIP file) e.g. <filename>.sqf
- Click "..." to select the filter file from the location where it was copied.
 
4) Select the appropriate Output file name if desired (*.swi).

5)If the test you are about to conduct is lengthy in duration, select "Use Multiple Log Files" and change 60 to 10 and select "Minutes" 

6) Click "Start" to begin logging

7) Click  "Stop" when the desired data is captured and logging is to be stopped.
