Zach Lovering Vice President, Urban Air Mobility Systems Zach is the Vice President of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) Systems at Airbus. In this position, Zach oversees Airbus' UAM operations in the United States and is responsible for overall UAM system architecture. Previously, he served as the Chief Engineer and then Project Executive of Vahana, where he led the development of the self-piloted, electric vertical take-off and landing demonstrator aircraft. Passionate about building the future of flight, he has spent over fifteen years enabling new forms of vertical takeoff aircraft, building a diverse background ranging from structures to controls and from legacy rotorcraft to novel all-electric aircraft. Zach holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of California at San Diego.
