The patio is well-heated and is a lovely, private place to have dinner. Service was particularly outstanding the night we were there. Food is always reliable. The wine list could stand an update.

Had some scallops and some cocktails. Perfect evening. Mellow. Didn’t have to wait at all.

Branzino was very tasty, whole fish so enough to share for light to medium eaters.

Arrived early. Very accommodating. Also nice area to sit in lobby. Masks suck, but it is what it is still.

Sat outside on entry brick patio. Food was good. Service was a bit much, too many visits to the table, but they were slower so they were trying to be attentive, just too many "are you done and can I take your plate".

Brunch for 2 with no alcohol was just over $80 w/o tip. I get it is Shutters, and had no issues, but for regular people thinking regular thinking, it is insane on price. Omlette is maybe 3 eggs and veggies. Two slices of tomato. And some fingerling potatoes. That plate costs less than $4 in product. Call it $5 if organic. Yet the price is $22. I just don't think this is more than a $15 item. But again it is LA and Shutters and a nice location so you pay for the ambience, not the food, per se.

One Pico always stays true to form even during the pandemic. I'm sorry that it is open only from Wednesday through Sunday, but I understand the times we are all living in.

We did not realize we would be in the entry courtyard rather than the restaurant with the fabulous views of the ocean.
The food was good, service was excellent.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at 1 Pico, with awesome food, an exceptionally friendly and attentive waiter, and a perfect view of the Santa Monica beach at sundown. Lovely place, very cozy and quiet, and relaxed. The scallops were perfect, and the grouper special was amazing. But the warm chocolate cake with homemade ice cream was to die for! You won't be sorry making the choice to eat here!

Wonderful ambience, with a beautiful setting and well-spaced tables. Extremely courteous staff. Food was excellent. A bit pricey but worth it.

Good is mediocre and with $115 price fix, I expected better selection and quality. The service was very good and love the location!

We had a wonderful Christmas dinner/experience at One Pico. It was like having a meal in our own dining room with friends. The food (special Christmas menu) was superb and the service was awesome. Loved it!!

My only complaint is about one of the hostesses who was rude when we checked in.

Just a beautiful setting for a Christmas brunch! Food was terrific! Nice and elegant. No need to rush, just relaxing. Wonderful view of the beach and ocean. Top service.

1 Pico restaurant is located in front of the Ocean. Unfortunately at night, in winter you don’t see much. The fire place is a nice touch, keeping the room warm. The service was excellent. Although presentation of the dishes was nice, I thought the dishes were a little overpriced: $27 for 5 ravioli, $60 for a Filet Mignon, a Salmon at $50, and not including taxes. I understand food prices have gone up but is this what we can expect from now on?

Lovely restaurant. You come here for the atmosphere and service. Parking is extremely expensive; it was $20 per car for just over 3 hours. It is expensive and the food is just good, not great. The presentation was beautiful, but we have been coming here for many years and sense a decline in the food.

One Pico is always a perfect place for a meal. I love the room. The drinks are ample, and the steak is perfectly cooked and tender. I especially enjoy the warm bread basket.

Excellent food and a wonderful ambiance! Slightly overpriced but perfectly prepared branzino. Delicious bottle of Sancerre. We will be back!

We had a family dinner post Thanksgiving 3
generations ages 2-80 and it was a perfectly
beautiful occasion. We were outside in the courtyard under twinkling lights. The service was fantastic-not an easy group to accommodate -but they were flawless-helpful but never intrusive. The food was divine. I really can’t say enough about how good it was. I was supremely happy and grateful!

Enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday dinner! Scallops were sublime. Can only say good things about 1 Pico. We like to go for sunset which doesn’t disappoint!

I took my parents to 1 Pico for Thanksgiving. The valet gentlemen were very courteous and ran things extremely efficiently. With our reservation there was no delay in seating. The outdoor patio was just beautiful, comfortable, plenty of space between tables, plenty of shade. The waiters were kind, thoughtful and fast. And the food. Every single dish was delicious, truly generous in size and worth the price. My parents can be very picky and we devoured our choices and the waiter's recommendations. Porcini pasta, short ribs, pumpkin soup... so much more including a pomegranate mimosa that was delicious. The staff is a wonderful team. Please tip your servers well. What feels seamless is hard professional work on their part.

Went here for my birthday while my family was in town and the server we had that night was so kind and generous for the occasion. Turns out, he was from the East Coast like my partner and used to live in Houston like my family! While the food took a tiny bit long it was well worth it and the service was 10/10. Ambiance was also so beautiful :)

Saturday brunch for an anniversary celebration, wonderful food / beautiful ambiance dining in the Library near the fireplace. Not inexpensive but as with anything in life, you get what you pay for w the overall Shutters experience.

I waited a week or so to write this review because for the price, I would expect this meal to be memorable, and I am having a hard time remembering it. The location is wonderful. I forgot that the sun would be down so early this time of year so sitting in the courtyard would have been the better choice for ambiance. Sitting inside was beautiful but too dark to see the ocean (my fault). The best part of the evening was actually after dinner sitting in the lobby, having coffee and dessert and listening to a piano and bass combo. Very relaxing. So, I get it, it is LA and stuff is expensive, but this was a bit much for a Branzino.
